Our Mission
At Amigos, we ensure that the basic needs
of our community are met, deliver high-
quality programs, and mobilize and organize
for justice.

Our Services
We do this by providing housing and rental
assistance, mental health services, legal
immigration services, education programs,
and community organizing programs that
advocate for systems change.

VITA Tax Services

Amigos de Guadalupe provided FREE tax services at the beginning of 2023. At this time, our Tax Services will be opening on the first weekend of March 2024. Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping us continue offering these services to our community!

Presenting Our 2023 Amigos Scholarship Recipients!

Amigos de Guadalupe believes in investing in young leaders in our community because they represent hope for the future of East San Jose. Amigos offers the Amigos Scholarship once per year and we are excited to announce that this year, we have awarded 51 scholarships.

We would like to thank our donors who continue to make it possible for Amigos de Guadalupe to offer scholarships to deserving students from our community. If you would like to make a donation to contribute to next year's cohort, you can click here.

Free Citizenship and ESL Classes!

We believe that education is the greatest equalizer, so Amigos de Guadalupe offers free ESL and Citizenship classes to ALL!

No need to register, just stop by our office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm if you would like to participate in our free Citizenship classes!

If you are interested in ESL classes, you can come to our office Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30pm-8:30pm.

Our Mayfair Community

Amigos de Guadalupe was born out of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in the Mayfair community. From our center in the Mayfair community, we run programs that serve all of East San Jose. These include the zip codes of 95116, 95122 and 95127.
