Karina, Mother of Two
"After months of homelessness and facing unimaginable challenges, my children and I finally found safety and hope at Casitas de Esperanza. Living in a clean, supportive environment has given us a second chance to rebuild our lives. While the journey has been difficult, I feel stronger than ever and hopeful for the future. Thanks to the support of Amigos de Guadalupe and this program, we now look forward to moving into a stable home where we can dream again. Casitas de Esperanza truly lives up to its name—a home of hope."

Thanks to the support of HereForYou and the dedicated staff at the Family Shelter, we finally found a safe place to call home. Through every challenge, their guidance and care gave us hope. My children now have a place to sleep, and I am forever grateful to everyone who helped us—this is a blessing we will always carry."

A Mother’s Strength: Regina’s Journey
"Hello, my name is Regina. I’m a single mother of two. After serious health challenges and the loss of a child, we became homeless and struggled to survive. Through the Here For You hotline, Amigos de Guadalupe found us a space at the Family Shelter, and for the first time in months, we felt safe and at home.
While at the shelter, I earned a caretaker certificate, found a job, and began working toward my dream of starting a nonprofit for families with hospitalized children. My message: ‘Don’t give up. Keep going—you are stronger than you think and bigger than the struggle.’"
